Pamela Jaffke, ASID, CIDMy Story
Having created a home that is filled with beautiful mementos of what is important to me and my family, I decided to embark on a career in interior design so that I could help others achieve what I had created. I completed a four year program at UCLA’s School of Interior & Environmental Design. I started my practice as a single mom when my sons were three and six, and graduated when my older son graduated from sixth grade. I am a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and a CCIDC certified interior designer in California. I travel to many places, including the furniture markets in High Point, NC and Las Vegas, in order to see firsthand what’s new and exciting. I work directly with over 200 of the world’s leading manufacturers of fine furnishings and accessories, which enables me to provide my clients with unique, distinctive furnishings at competitive prices. Designing is just as exciting and rewarding today as it was when I began my practice 25 years ago. On each project I meet wonderful clients and have the privilege of helping them to create a home environment that perfectly suits their family. I listen carefully to their desires and concerns and create unique and innovative interiors that truly reflect their lifestyle, their passions, and their personal taste. It’s so rewarding to be able to design environments that enhance their lives and overall sense of well-being. Take a look at some of my work. Please view my portfolio.
